The Peltier-based Torrey Pines Scientific CO30 HPLC column oven has been developed for analytical and preparative applications in chemical and biological laboratories. Its temperature range covers 41) to 70 °C.

The temperature accuracy is ±0.2 °C. The temperature uniformity within the column chamber is ±0.5 °C. Target temperatures can be set in steps of 0.1 °C.

The 163 x 394 x 130 mm (WxHxD) chamber holds up to four 300 mm long HPLC columns (1" OD) with room for fittings, tubing and a switching valve. Two sizes of O-rings for column clamping are included with each unit.

The chamber door opens fully to the front. This enables an easy, unobstructed mounting of the columns, valve, tubing and fittings. Separate valve and spill drains ensure that any accidental spillage is led to the outside the chamber.

The backlit LCD displays target and actual temperature and time indication of the 99-hour count-down timer. The timer incorporates an alarm and setable Auto-Off.

All models feature a factory set electronic calibration, traceable to NIST, however, the user is able to recalibrate the unit to his own standard. A RS232 I/O port enables data collection or external control of the unit by means of PC or HPLC system.
