Ushio xenon short-arc lamps are high-intensity point light sources. An important feature of this lamp type is its close resemblance to daylight in terms of spectral distribution.
Ushio UXL xenon short-arc lamps are available in wattages ranging from 35 W to 30 kW. Lamps rated at less than 450 watts are predominantly used in scientific and technical applications such as:
· Fluorescence Spectrometers
· Light sources for microscopy / fluorescence microscopy
· Light sources for endoscopy / fiber optics
· Graphic scanners
· Color matching lights
· Color measuring units

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Due to their high luminance, UV radiation and internal pressure in both the hot and cold state, UXL xenon lamps may only be operated in enclosed lamp casings specially constructed for the purpose. |
